Ian
started playing
with a number of Pub/Club cover Bands in the late 70's until he traded in
his gear for a chic "shag pile" carpet.
Ian made a record once (vinyl variety) and
still has a copy of the 76 copies ever sold (he had 75 very close &
foolish friends at the time, but the records were cheap). Ian once
bought a pair of jeans off David Coverdale and once got drunk with Colin
Hodgkinson.
After taking a
prolonged break Ian has played with a number bands covering anything
from electric folk to heavy rock.
Ian's most significant recent
achievement's include placing "the ad" .
Influences
are sited as, REM, Dire Straits, Van Morrison, Back Door and Chris Rea but to name
a few.
